Amanda Stanley, Ph.D.

Amanda StanleyAmanda Stanley is an ecologist whose research interests include conservation biology, mathematical ecology, and invasion ecology, focusing on the interactions between exotic and native species in grassland ecosystems. She received her PhD in Biology from the University of Washington (2005) and her BS in Wildlife Biology from the University of
Montana (1996). Amanda has taught at Seattle University and the University of Washington.  She has worked as a research assistant studying small mammal ecology (Rocky Mountain Research Station, US Forest Service), and as an undergraduate assistant at the Toolik Lake LTER examined the effects of climate change on arctic tundra. Currently at IAE, Amanda is the director of the Prairie Restoration Research program.
